Scout keeps doing things that reminds me of the courthouse ! I want to forget what has happen in that place that I now hate , even though its Atticus' fort.
This prejudice ought to stop, even though Tom Robinson is one of the coloured folks, he should be in a fair trial and not guilty even before he made his stand. Even though if the jury is all white folks and if they pronounce that he innocent, they would be scorned at for taking the side of the coloured people.
They should do what is right and not what is the "decision" of whats right, " a black man's word can't hold against a white man's word. I shall put an end to this prejudice if its the last thing i do!

Shocking ! Hes dead !
When I first heard that Tom Robinson was dead , and the cause of his death was because he climb the fence to escape from jail and got shot to death.
Wonder how would Atticus bring this up to Tom`s wife, hope she would take it in stride. I feel that this incident of prejudice is very wrong as Tom without doubt is innocent and should not be persecuted.
But he chose to try and escape even though he may be cleared of his name. It really was a foolish thing to do from my point of view.
Still , even though he was escaping as an extremely fast speed, they could have shot his legs to stop him. They didn`t have to shoot so many. They were definately shooting to kill him. Can you imagine seventeen bullet holes just piercing through his skin?

Jem`s jam
Scout and I went to pick some wild berries and we brought them back to Calpurnia and she made some new kind of jam which was delicious.
She named it Jem`s jam as the taste of the jam sort of reflected my character in it.
She told me that sometimes I was like the sweetness of the jam. While sometimes I was as sour as the taste of the berries in the jam. And sometimes I would act as spoilt as some of the berries we picked up that was rotten.
It was quite amusing as her statement was quite true about myself.

Walter gets bullied !
Today in school I witness the most hilarious thing ever ! Walter was getting bullied by a kid half his size.
He did not retaliate and did not take any measures to protect and defend himself against the attacker.
Though none of the attacks actually hurt him badly , he lost his pride and has the title of a coward in school . If he retaliated , the boy would not have stand a chance !
I am still curious about why Walter did not fight back , knowing that he would win if he did so. Its weird and a little amusing that this kind of incident took place.

Tom Robinson`s "hopeless" case
After hearing that Atticus would defend Tom Robinson for a case that he would definately not win. I wonder what Atticus is thinking , defending Tom Robinson knowing that he would surely not win the case.
While others think of Atticus as a "nigger lover" , I do not care what they think and I would always support Atticus in whatever he is doing.
When people talk of Atticus as a "nigger lover" , Scout flares up and goes mad , even though Atticus told her to control herself..

Sisters are a chore !!
Its awfully annoying when Scout bothers me to play with her when I am busy with something else and have no time to entertain her antics, and when I am playing with her, I have to make sure that she is safe.
Being an elder brother is not easy . I have to take care of Scout and if anything happen it would become my fault for not taking proper care of her.
I get blamed if I do not take good care of her . It is so unfair ! I wish she would just grow up and I do not need to look after her time and time again.
Even when I am doing something that girls normally would not do, Scout would just barge in and demand for us to play with her, sometimes I wish she would just do what girls do, girls should just act like girls!
